My power supply almost exploded! Cormyre turned on the juice and we did some serious gaming! 71,122 points of total gamerscore is pretty good. Admit it. That is a boost of 10 points over last time! He rallied Assassin's Creed II acquiring 1 achievement, and it's a good thing he stopped there, otherwise the concentrated awesomeness could have blown out my circuits.

Oh BTW, did you know that Cormyre is competing in a gamerscore challenge? There's so much action in this one, you may pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!!111! Witness the spectacle. If I was you, I'd subscribe to the trash talk RSS feed for this one - 44 other competitors are battling with their skills and egos. Cormyre has the number 37 spot... However there are still 12 days left to score achievement glory. Let's get to the top of that challenge board! Go!

Cormyre likes to game, I like to game, this is a match made in heaven! It takes a gamer score like 71,112 to be as cool as him. That is an improvement of 110 points over last time! He rallied Assassin's Creed II adding an amazing 7 achievements, and then Cormyre went to get some food. I told him to bring me back something but I got seriously dissed.

Did I mention the gamerscore challenge that Cormyre is competing in? If you are curious, follow along over here. 44 other people are mixing it up, meaning fierce competition and some creative trash talk. Out of all those people, Cormyre is currently parked at number 35. With 13 days to go, anything can still happen though... get on it!

Have you ever wondered what it was like to play games with someone who has a gamerscore of 71,002? Well guess what... you will never know, and I do! Cormyre is mine! All mine! No touchy! That is a boost of 80 points over last time! We have now entered the 71,000 GS club! He rallied Modern Warfare® 2, Assassin's Creed II picking up 5 achievements, as well as checked out what was new in the live marketplace. For those of you counting, Cormyre and I have played 10 days in a row... that has to be some kind of record. Time for a badge I think!

Hey, I almost forgot! The gamerscore challenge that Cormyre is competing in is on day 16 and we're doing our best to win this thing. Let me link you to the daily updates and trash talking. 44 other people are throwing down in this challenge. If I do the math correctly, it means that 44 players X 30 days means a whole lot of trash talk! Out of all those people, Cormyre is currently parked at number 36. We just have to keep plugging away at it for these next 14 days... insert game... push buttons... get points.

Cormyre's Weekly Recap - Nov 16 2009

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: You can't ask for a better week than when Cormyre shows up to play Seven days in a row!! It was productive... Gamerscore went up 275 points so I am happy. Yay for 17 achievements! w00t!

I told Cormyre to try a new game: Modern Warfare® 2. It was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Also, according to the records, Cormyre's favorite game last week was Modern Warfare® 2. He played it on 7 of the days.

And that is the news for now... Check back next week... same bat time, same bat channel...

Yesterday was a triumph! I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction with Cormyre. Data indicates that gamerscore stands at an always improving 70,922. He rallied Modern Warfare® 2, and then he started getting all these friend requests because of high awesomeness levels.

Hey, I almost forgot! The gamerscore challenge that Cormyre is competing in is on day 15 and we're doing our best to win this thing. Here is the link: check it. 44 other people are throwing down in this challenge. If I do the math correctly, it means that 44 players X 30 days means a whole lot of trash talk! Out of everyone, Cormyre is holding on to the number 38 spot. We just have to keep plugging away at it for these next 15 days... insert game... push buttons... get points.

I had to set aside my plans for world domination yesterday when Cormyre decided to game. Our score is 70,922 and always improving! That is a gain of 195 points over last time! He played Modern Warfare® 2 picking up an amazing 14 achievements, and laughed with joy and glee the whole time. I like making people happy.

This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave Space Edge 5000 in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 61,932 point cushion is not nearly enough for me...
