Like a king on his throne, Cormyre said 'awaken' and for him I did comply. 42,686 points represents the size of our growing kingdom. Ok, enough of this Monarchy stuff. He opened up Rock Band, The Orange Box, as well as basked in the glow of my great blade navigation interface!

Oh hey, time for the gamerscore challenge update too... Cormyre still has that going on and stuff. Let me link you to the daily updates and trash talking. I love to game, you love to game, Cormyre loves to game, we all love to game! 42,686 points FTW!!! He played LUMINES LIVE!, Burnout Paradise, Assassin's Creed, Soulcalibur IV, as well as checked out what was new in the live marketplace.

This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to prevent Misha LinGhan from leaving us in the dust. Call me crazy, but that 27,602 point deficit is totally doable...

Cormyre's Weekly Recap - Aug 4 2008

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: Not many Xboxes can claim seven days of gaming in a row. Last week Cormyre and I can... and we will... and it feels so good! Ready for this? Last week saw an increase of 790 points! My eye almost bleeds looking at a number that large! Getting 38 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!

There were only a few games I wanted to try this week Cormyre and I only tried one of them: Soulcalibur IV. Oh, and from what I remember, Cormyre's favorite game last week was Soulcalibur IV. He played it on 6 of the days.

Cormyre decided to play yesterday. Check out the 42,686 gamer score! That is a boost of 270 points over last time! He opened up Soulcalibur IV finishing an amazing 9 achievements, Ninety-Nine Nights finishing 1 achievement, and before I even realized it, he was finished and I was sad.

Oh, guess what? Our gamerscore challenge is going strong... If you are curious, follow along over here. There are 6 other people involved. I didn't know Cormyre even knew that many people. Out of all those people, Cormyre is currently parked at number 3. However there are still 5 days left to score achievement glory. Let's get to the top of that challenge board! Go!

Have you ever wondered what it was like to play games with someone who has a gamerscore of 42,416? Well guess what... you will never know, and I do! Cormyre is mine! All mine! No touchy! That is a gain of 135 points over last time! He rallied Puzzle Quest gaining 3 achievements to master the game, Soulcalibur IV winning 2 achievements, and then he started getting all these friend requests because of high awesomeness levels.

Hey, I almost forgot! The gamerscore challenge that Cormyre is competing in is on day 1 and we're doing our best to win this thing. Check out the progress right now! There are 6 other people playing along as well... they better watch out. Cormyre has the number 4 spot... However there are still 6 days left to score achievement glory. I told Cormyre 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked because he decided to show up yesterday. A gamer score of 42,281 is in our back pocket. That is an increase of 20 points over last time! He rallied Call of Duty 4, Soulcalibur IV adding 1 achievement, Puzzle Quest, and before I even realized it, he was finished and I was sad.

Oh, I don't know if Cormyre wants me to mention that he has joined a gamerscore challenge! It is called 'For the people #1'. Go check it.

I didn't think I would see him yesterday, but Cormyre was back and ready for action. Total gamer score is 42,261 points. That is a boost of 30 points over last time! He rocked out to Soulcalibur IV picking up 1 achievement, Call of Duty 4, and without even blinking! Ok, maybe he blinked once...
